Dear Patients at Burnaby Heights Integrative Healthcare,

After much thought and reflection, I have made the decision to leave Burnaby Heights Integrative Healthcare. This will provide me with opportunities for caring and teaching my daughter as she continues to grow from a giggling baby to a precocious toddler and hopefully into a thoughtful and confident child.

In the meantime, I have decided to take a part time position working with Dr. Joanna MacDonald at Teamworks Health Clinic in Vancouver. Joanna and I have collaborated and covered each other’s clinic leaves for more than 12 years. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work more closely with her and the other members of her clinic.

I wanted to thank each of you for allowing me the privilege of treating you over the past 16 years. I have enjoyed the opportunity to address your health care needs, hear about your families and share in your excitement on numerous personal accomplishments.

I will miss my patients, the receptionists and my colleagues at Burnaby Integrative Healthcare.

My last day at the clinic will be Wednesday, January 5th.
